Is Obama more like a Communist or Capitalist?

Since Obama has taken office, he has been many things to many people. The touts great ideas but when things don’t go his way, instead of taking responsibility, he tries to place the blame on someone else. We’ve seen in the past that instead of keeping government in check, Obama is expanding government. Government is taking over every little big in our lives.
I was recently pointed to the following video. It’s a cartoon from 1948. This is the stuff we should be teaching in our schools. It’s about 10 minutes long but after you watch, you can decide. Is Obama more Communist or Capitalist?
Obama Says Iran has Right to Nuclear Energy

In another naive interview given by Obama, he suggested that Iran may have some right to nuclear energy. The only stipulation is that Iran “prove” that it’s aspirations are peaceful. Obama has now given propaganda material to Iran. They will use this to say, “See, even the US says we should have Nuclear Power.” The content of the interview will now make it harder for the US or the United Nations to deter the proliferation of nuclear technology. But, the comments by Obama do not only affect Iran, it also affects other countries. Will Obama continue to be dumb? What will he do next? Next thing you know he will be traveling to North Korea and saying they have a right to nuclear power. Obama has set a dangerous precedent.
Obama was quoted saying:
What I do believe is that Iran has legitimate energy concerns, legitimate aspirations…
Legitimate energy concerns? They’re a member of OPEC. They have a bunch of oil? So now they need nuclear? What are their legitimate aspirations? To eliminate Israel off the face of the earth? Obama doesn’t think. Obama is then quoted saying the following with regard to the time line.
Although I don’t want to put artificial time tables on that process, we do want to make sure that, by the end of this year, we’ve actually seen a serious process move forward. And I think that we can measure whether or not the Iranians are serious.
Does Obama actually think that Iran will comply with US demands? We’ve known that Iran has been working on nuclear technology for a couple of years. They’ve had plenty of time to show that they are serious. I think when Obama says serious, he’s going to wait until Iran has missiles fitted with nuclear warheads.
The following is the end of the article.
Obama leaves in the evening on a trip to Egypt and Saudi Arabia aimed at reaching out to the world’s 1.5 billion Muslims. He is due to make his speech in Cairo on Thursday.
Obama sounded an optimistic note about making progress toward resolving the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, although he offered no new ideas for how he might try to secure a freeze on new building of Israeli settlements. The United States has called for a freeze, but Israeli leaders have rejected that.
Asked what he would say during his visit about human rights abuses, including the detention of political prisoners in Egypt, Obama indicated no stern lecture would be forthcoming.
He said he hoped to deliver the message that democratic values are principles that “they can embrace and affirm.”
Obama added that there is a danger “when the United States, or any country, thinks that we can simply impose these values on another country with a different history and a different culture.”
So, we can’t impose our values on another country? Does the same also apply in reverse? It appears that Iran and a few of the other countries are trying to impose their values on the United States. Using this statement from Obama, this means that we should not be lecturing China about human rights violations. We should not be lecturing Israel on how to handle the Palestinian conflict. Obama contradicts himself in more than one way in this article. Obama continues to disappoint and continues to be dumb.
“Vanilla” Change

I am so glad that Obama plans to make sure that “Every credit card issuer has to issue a plain vanilla easy-to-understand, simplest possible credit card…that the average user can feel comfortable with.” After all, the butterscotch crunch version was so hard to understand!
Sure, there needs to be reform. That’s okay as long as I can charge whatever I want and have the tax payer pay for it, just like my mortgage. I think I may just go out and buy some new furniture today so that I can be sure that everyone else in the country can pay for it.
Do I think that perhaps there may be some issues with loopholes in the credit card company policies within every credit card company in the US? Perhaps. However, have people been taking advantage of the system? Of course they have.
What do you bet that the new legislation will help those who have taken advantage of the system, over spending and then being irresponsible when paying their bills. Let me give it to you in the “vanilla” version. They buy and then don’t pay. I know it’s hard to understand for us “average” people.
There is an argument that the policies may reduce the amount of credit offered to lower-income individuals. Wouldn’t that be just too bad? I mean, everyone should have the same stuff in the same amounts shouldn’t they? Differences in the way people live are highly over-rated anyway. People should get paid the same no matter what job they get income, right? Doctor-Fast Food Grill Cook. It’s all the same, right? I hope the legislation comes down that we all have to drive the same battery powered cars, wear the same uniform colors, and that we must bow down to the Obama-God so that we don’t have to think for ourselves and therefore don’t have any consequences for our actions.
Amen.

Is the Government our New Conscience?
April 23, 2009 by Guest Writer 1

The Obama administration’s recent move to overturn the “conscience clause,” which allowed workers in the Health Care industry to decline providing abortion services and/or advice, should leave us wondering how long conservatives will have the freedom to disagree with any of the far left’s pet causes. In this new world the Obama administration is creating, pro-life doctors and nurses, and even Catholic hospitals may lose their jobs or face lawsuits if they are unwilling to provide abortion services.
Why is the government discriminating against the freedom of conscience of the pro-life health care employees? Unfortunately, there are many other providers willing to provide abortion services for women, so it is not very difficult for a woman to find somewhere else to go for an abortion.
But that is not good enough for the Obama administration and his liberal cheerleaders. Nothing short of a government that legislates all outward manifestations of conscience will satisfy. In other words, if you object to participating in something that goes against your conscience, that’s just tough. You can believe it privately, but you will be fired, sued, and perhaps someday jailed if you attempt to live consistently with your own beliefs. It starts here, with the abortion industry, in Obama’s first few months as president. How many of our other freedoms will we see taken away in the next four years? When will the American people finally stand up and say, “Enough?”
The hard earned tax-dollars of pro-life conservatives are already being used without their permission to pay for some abortions, thanks to Federal Medicaid policies that will pay for abortions in certain circumstances. Obama also lifted the restriction on federal funding for abortion-minded international organizations, so our tax-dollars are now paying to fund abortions out of the country.
The conscience clause is something we need to preserve the freedoms that have always been the foundation of our nation’s government. Interference in the personal convictions of the people in this nation will eventually lead to oppression similar to other countries where freedom isn’t even brought up in discussion. Will we eventually be a country where freedom is given lip service, but does not exist any longer?
